Newbold House
The purpose of the Newbold House Community is to help create a more peaceful, compassionate and sustainable world through being a centre for awakening consciousness: providing transformative experiences for our visitors, guests and house members, whilst demonstrating joyful, loving and authentic community.
Newbold House is a peaceful space to recharge your batteries, to spend some time surrounded by nature, to take part in a workshop or just to live in community, exploring creative ways of being and working together. We live in a magnificent large 100-year-old house in seven acres of gardens and woodland. The emphasis in the garden is both on education and self-sufficiency. Our diet is mostly vegetarian. We are part of the wider Findhorn community but independent of the Findhorn Foundation, becoming yet another expression of the same spirit.
It is possible to come and visit us for a few days or a week or more. Those who wish to experience community living in more depth can take part in one of our core programmes explained in detail on our website.
We are also looking for new members and co-workers: see details on our website.
We welcome enquiries by email or phone.
