Old Chapel Farm
We are a small, new community, though as a family smallholding we have had a constantly changing community of wwoofers and other volunteers for 20 years. We would like to find others who share some of our passions in the arts, agriculture, archaeology and the natural world to live here on a longer term basis.
We run an archaeological business www.cambarch.co.uk, produce most of our own vegetables and meat,some milk and honey, use alternative energy and have restored some beautiful old buildings.We are building a crafts centre and manage our own woodland.
We run a programme of courses in prehistoric arts and traditional crafts.
We would like to create a welcoming and inspiring cultural/educational centre that will both provide a fulfilling way of life on the land and look for simple practical solutions to some of the challenges we face in a rapidly changing world.We would like specifically to reconstruct a working neolithic settlement.
