Isle of Erraid Community
Living on a tiny jewel of an island set into an emerald sea, our small community flourishes as we experience a sense of synchronicity with each other, our animals and the elements around us.
The heart of our community centres around our gardens as here we work hand in hand with nature to produce fruit and vegetables for our kitchen.
Accommodation is in our very cosy stone-built cottages heated by log burning stoves.
Although primarily vegetarian, our kitchen also offers meat supplied by our animals.
Our membership is quite small, only six adults and one child, but there is always something going on, be it walks, boat trips, singalongs etc.
Our island community also opens its doors to guests who stay with us anything ranging from one week to a couple of years.
Meditation and singing play a part in our lives as we meet daily to pursue both.
Currently we are open to new members, singles, couples or a family.
