Faslane Peace Camp community has existed for 31 years, aiming to promote an alternative, more sustainable way of living based on nonviolence and cooperation. We welcome visitors at any time – let us know in advance if you can, but it’s not essential. We live in caravans and each donate £5/week for food and other expenses. All communal food is veggie/vegan. Dogs and children are welcome, but be aware that we are next to a busy road.
Our focuses are: peace, nonviolence, direct action, nuclear disarmament, sustainability and community building. Faslane Peace Camp was set up in 1982 as a permanent and visible base for protest against the Faslane Naval Base.
