We are an intentional community committed to living, working and having fun on an 80 acre organic farm in West Wales.
We have a forest garden with vegetable plots and bee hives. Over the years we have planted the field edges with native coppice, both adding to our wood supply and to the biodiversity of the land. We are also very proud of the disabled accessible woodland walk with its boardwalk, sensory garden, musical sculptures and bush craft centre.
We host camps and gatherings on the land which over the years have ranged from Womens’ Camps, via Solstice Gatherings and the wonderful Phoenix Home Education Camp. We are consistently developing our facilities here. We’ve been working on the gathering field facilities and last year upgraded the compost toilets and added a new shower block. Finally the new wood fired central heating system is in (thank you NEST and the EST) and we are currently wrangling a low carbon grant for external wall insulation. Finally we are able to get on with decorating the house and updating the house kitchen. We are currently in a time of transition and therefore not accepting new members until we know what the new format will be.
