Our future is bright. Want to be a part of it?

The nights are getting longer, snow is back on the mountains and we are chopping a lot more firewood but we’re not going into hibernation at Rhuba Phoil! In fact we’re a hive of activity, getting ready for some big steps for the new year.

We’re Looking for New Members!

Like any good divers permaculture garden, our community needs a variety of people in order to flourish and grow further. In January 2020, we are holding the second 4-month Community Building Program. We welcome applicants and open the doors for the next generation of Rubha Phoil members:

You’ll have the chance to experience living in community and with nature on a daily basis.

Learn to redesign your life, live sustainably, reconnect with nature, build community.

It will be a rich learning experience for all of us.

We’re Hiring! Calling All Project Managers

We love things how they are at Rubha Phoil. But to take us to the next level and make our home even more special, there are some important jobs to be done. We need one or two people who are willing to lead the 2 projects described below, starting as soon as possible.
We can offer workshops, the 4 month Community Building Program (mentioned above), and a potential membership of the community. Food and accommodation can be provided and we can also discuss monetary reimbursement. Send us a quote of what you’d expect for your time, energy and skills and we’ll get back to you.

Project 1: Building a new shower bock and finishing an existing one
Project 2: Widening and resurfacing our track

You don’t need to have the hands-on skills for this work, just the momentum and desire to organise and lead the project. There’ll be plenty of help from our team.
