Old Chapel Farm

We are offering a series of internships for volunteers with real practical experience and enthusiasm to offer, who want to improve and learn new skills. Internship subjects vary each year – examples are – countryside and livestock management, natural building, Growing and processing organic veg, ecotourism, fundraising and admin, carpentry, beekeeping, website design, business skills, experimental archaeology.

Old Hall Community Stop Press: May 2021: Covid restrictions are easing. However we are not accepting any volunteers from abroad and only local volunteers allready known to us for the time being. We host volunteers for two week periods from April through to October each year when we close down for the winter. We have set aside spaces for up to a maximum of four volunteers at any one time during this period. We set aside spaces for a maximum of two families during the volunteer season. Please visit our website and email: telling us a bit about yourself and your reasons for wanting to visit our community. We will send you further information. Have fun planning your year. Wellhouse Community

Happy to have volunteers. Depending on length of stay we may as for a contribution to bills/food costs as we don’t have much cash. Always open to negotiations and if your skill set is particularly useful to the project then we will be very open to you staying for free.
