Places needing Volunteers
If you would like to volunteer at Birchwood Hall, and spend some time in our orchard and vegetable garden, please get in touch with us by email: firstname.lastname@example.org In your email, please tell us: a little about yourself; the reasons why you are interested in volunteering; and what attracts you to communal living.
We sometimes take enthusiastic volunteers who want to help with our veg growing and other jobs. A good level of self-reliance is needed by volunteers.
Volunteers are welcome to visit by arrangement, to get involved with the various projects here and experience community life and day to day goings on.
We are offering a series of internships for volunteers with real practical experience and enthusiasm to offer, who want to improve and learn new skills. Internship subjects vary each year – examples are – countryside and livestock management, natural building, Growing and processing organic veg, ecotourism, fundraising and admin, carpentry, beekeeping, website design, business skills, experimental archaeology.
We enjoy when Wwoofers visit us in Glastonbury Somerset, at the moment we are looking for help in the garden. 5 hours per day nominally. Please get in touch if you are interested.
We take volunteers via Helpx and Wwoof from spring to autumn. Please contact our volunteer coordinator for further information: email@example.com

However we are not accepting any volunteers from abroad and only local volunteers allready known to us for the time being. We host volunteers for two week periods from April through to October each year when we close down for the winter. We have set aside spaces for up to a maximum of four volunteers at any one time during this period. We set aside spaces for a maximum of two families during the volunteer season. Please visit our website and email: email@example.com telling us a bit about yourself and your reasons for wanting to visit our community. We will send you further information. Happy to have volunteers. Depending on length of stay we may as for a contribution to bills/food costs as we don’t have much cash. Always open to negotiations and if your skill set is particularly useful to the project then we will be very open to you staying for free.
